Everyone has a mobile phone these days, a mobile phone is as normal as wiping your ass. So when there are lot’s of mobile phones there is lot’s of demand for ringtones, it’s just the plain simple law of supply and demand.
The very cool nokia tune! (not)
When you buy a new mobile phone you also get all the boring ringtones with it. Like the nokia tune when you buy a Nokia phone. We don’t want boring ringtones when we have bought ourselves a brand new expensive hightech mobile phone with all the features we are never going to use, we want cool ringtones as well!
Uniqueness
We want to be unique, we don’t want to hear the same ringtone over and over again when our mobile phone rings. Also you need to know it’s your phone that’s ringing by hearing the ringtone.
Rocket science
Why build a motorbike with a jet engine? Because we can! Why not having your very own personal ringtone?
Expression
People like to express themselves and the music they like, you can see that everywhere, you see gothics on the streets, hip-hoppers, rappers, rockers, country and so on. They wear clothes and accessories associated with their music style. And what’s better than the music of your music style as a ringtone when you want to be associated with it!
It’s cool
Way back in the days when were all young and innocent we used to show off our bikes at school to our friends, now we are to old for that, and we can do that with our ringtones. It sounds really weird but believe me it happens! Especially among teenagers!
Technology is hip
Technology is very hip these days, that’s also the reason that everyone has a mobile phone, but also the reason that everyone has their own ringtone. When you just bought the newest hightech cell phone you want a hightech ringtone, not just a standard one,
The motherload
It’s not hard to find your own ringtone of one of your favorite songs. There are thousands of ringtone websites on the internet with each having thousands of ringtones for your mobile phone, so there is probably one website out there that has the song you like.

Ringtones can be really funny, there are a lot of funny sounds for your phone. There are realtones these days, nametones, truetones, irritones and many more. Some of them are hilarious and a must have.

There are thousands of ringtones websites on the internet, and each of those ringtones websites want you as their customer so to compete with the other websites they try to lower their price as much as possible, and that’s good for you!
